1Agreement to Terms & Platform Description

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and easyLife LLP ("easyLife", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of our Platform, including our websites (easylife.net.in, marketplace.easylife.net.in), mobile applications, and related services.

Platform Description: easyLife operates a digital marketplace and technology platform that facilitates the discovery and connection of customers with independent professionals, local service providers, stores, and other local businesses (collectively, "Service Providers").

The Platform enables Service Providers to create profiles, showcase their services, products, portfolios, pricing, availability, and business information. Customers can use easyLife to discover suitable local providers and communicate with them directly.

⚠️ Important: easyLife acts primarily as a technology platform and marketplace facilitator. We do NOT claim ownership of the businesses, services, products, inventory, equipment, employees, or independent operations of participating professionals, stores, or sellers.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2Definitions

"Platform" means easyLife's websites (easylife.net.in, marketplace.easylife.net.in), mobile applications (Android/iOS), and related technology services
"Customer" or "You" means individuals or users looking for local products or services through the Platform
"Professional" means independent professionals who offer services to customers through the Platform
"Store" or "Seller" means local businesses that showcase and offer products through the easyLife Store
"Service Provider" means any Professional, Store, Seller, or local business participating on the Platform
"User" means any person using the Platform, including Customers and Service Providers
"Service" means professional services offered by independent Professionals
"Product" means items listed by Stores or Sellers through the easyLife Store
"Booking" means a confirmed appointment between a Customer and Professional
"Subscription" means optional paid plans offered to Service Providers for access to premium Platform features

⚠️Important: What easyLife Does NOT Claim

By using this Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

Not an Employer: easyLife does NOT represent itself as the employer of independent professionals or local businesses listed on the Platform, unless a separate employment relationship is expressly established. Service Providers are independent business operators.
Not a Direct Service Provider: easyLife does NOT itself provide, perform, or directly deliver every service listed by professionals or local businesses on the Platform. Services are provided by independent Service Providers.
No Ownership Claims: easyLife does NOT claim ownership of a Service Provider's independent business, tools, equipment, staff, inventory, products, or other assets. Listing on easyLife does not transfer ownership to easyLife.
Product Ownership: easyLife does NOT claim ownership of products listed by independent sellers or stores unless specifically stated for a particular product.
Quality & Safety: easyLife does NOT claim responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, accuracy, suitability, availability, delivery, or outcome of services or products supplied by independent marketplace participants, except to the extent expressly required by applicable law.
Not a Guarantee: A Service Provider's listing on easyLife does NOT constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement by easyLife of the professional, service, product, or business.
Verification Scope: Any verification, KYC, or trust indicator displayed by easyLife represents ONLY the specific checks actually completed by easyLife and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of service quality or product quality.
Independent Arrangements: Customers and Service Providers remain responsible for the terms and performance of their individual service or product arrangements, subject to applicable law and easyLife's platform policies.

3Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

Be at least 15 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
Not be barred from using the Platform under applicable laws
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials

Professionals must additionally meet verification requirements including background checks, credential verification, and compliance with professional standards.

4User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation: You must create an account to access certain features. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and update your information
Keep your password confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4.2 Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose safety risks.

5Platform Usage

5.1 Permitted Use: You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

5.2 Prohibited Activities: You agree NOT to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe intellectual property rights
Transmit harmful code or malware
Engage in fraudulent activities
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Impersonate any person or entity
Scrape or data mine the Platform
Interfere with Platform operation
Create fake accounts or reviews
Circumvent verification processes

6Payment Model

6.1 Professional Services Payment (Current Model)

Direct Payment Between Customer and Professional

Under the current operating model, easyLife does NOT collect customer payments for professional services. You may contact or book a professional through easyLife, but payment for the underlying professional service is made directly between you (the customer) and the professional.

Customers and professionals independently agree on service details, pricing, schedule, delivery, and payment terms
The service transaction is between the customer and the relevant independent professional
Payment method (cash, online transfer, etc.) is determined by mutual agreement
Professionals set their own prices
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise

6.2 Store/Product Payments

For products listed by independent stores or sellers through the easyLife Store:

The seller remains responsible for the product transaction, including price, stock, fulfillment, delivery, and returns
Where easyLife does not process payment, customers and sellers complete payment directly
Payment methods are determined by the seller's policies

6.3 Professional Subscription Payments

easyLife offers optional paid subscription plans to professionals and participating businesses for access to premium marketplace features:

Subscription is optional unless a particular plan expressly states otherwise
Subscription payments are processed through our secure payment gateway/service provider
Subscription is a platform fee for premium functionality, separate from customer payments for services
A professional subscription does NOT make easyLife the provider or employer of the professional
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in the subscription terms

6.4 Future Payment Facilitation

easyLife may introduce customer payment facilitation in the future to improve convenience and transaction management. Such functionality is NOT part of the current professional-service payment model. If introduced, the exact payment flow, responsibilities, settlement mechanism, and role of easyLife will be defined according to the final technical and contractual structure and applicable legal requirements.

6.5 Booking Confirmations

Bookings may be confirmed through the Platform where booking functionality is available
You must provide accurate booking details (date, time, location)
Professionals can accept or decline booking requests
Both parties should honor confirmed bookings

7Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1 Customer Cancellations:

No cancellations charge applicable

7.2 Professional Cancellations:

Frequent cancellations may result in account penalties
Emergency cancellations must be reported immediately

7.3 Refund Processing:

Cash payments refunded by Professional if not satisfied as per their discretion

8Professional-Specific Terms

8.1 Verification Requirements:

Professionals must:

Provide valid identity documents
Submit relevant certifications and qualifications
Pass background verification checks
Maintain professional liability insurance (where applicable)
Keep profile information current and accurate

8.2 Service Obligations:

Provide services professionally and competently
Honor confirmed bookings
Arrive on time for appointments
Maintain appropriate conduct and professionalism
Comply with applicable laws and regulations
Obtain necessary licenses and permits

8.3 Service Fees:

Only subscription charges apply

9Ratings and Reviews

Users can rate and review services. You agree that:

Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences
Reviews must not contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
You grant easyLife the right to display your reviews publicly
We may remove reviews that violate these Terms
Fake or fraudulent reviews are strictly prohibited
Reviews cannot be used to promote competing services

10Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content (text, graphics, logos, images, software) are owned by easyLife and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission
Use easyLife trademarks or branding without authorization
Reverse engineer or decompile the Platform
Create derivative works based on the Platform

By posting content on the Platform (photos, reviews, etc.), you grant easyLife a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content.

11Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Platform, you consent to our Privacy Policy. Please review it at easylife.net.in/privacy-policy.

12Disclaimers

12.1 Platform Availability:

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.

12.2 Service Quality:

easyLife is a marketplace connecting Customers and Professionals. We do not provide services directly. While we verify Professionals, we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided. Users engage with Professionals at their own risk.

12.3 Third-Party Content:

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.

13Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

13.1 Platform Facilitator Role:

easyLife provides a marketplace platform and technology services. We are NOT responsible for the actions, services, products, quality, safety, legality, or reliability of Service Providers or their offerings.

13.2 Service Provider Responsibility:

The independent Service Provider (not easyLife) is solely responsible for:

Quality, accuracy, safety, and legality of their services or products
Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licenses, and permits
Obtaining necessary insurance coverage
Fulfillment, delivery, and customer service
Handling disputes, refunds, and customer complaints
Their own business operations, taxes, and liabilities

13.3 No Warranty:

easyLife makes NO warranty or guarantee regarding:

The quality, safety, outcome, or legality of services or products
The accuracy of Service Provider information or listings
The reliability, conduct, or credentials of Service Providers
The availability of services or products
The success or satisfaction of any transaction
Platform uptime, security, or error-free operation

13.4 Excluded Damages:

easyLife SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill
Service interruptions or data loss
Actions or omissions of Service Providers or Customers
Unauthorized access to your account
Disputes between Customers and Service Providers
Quality, safety, or outcome of services/products provided by third parties
Personal injury, property damage, or economic loss arising from Service Provider actions

13.5 Liability Cap:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, easyLife's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Platform shall NOT exceed ₹10,000 (Ten Thousand Indian Rupees) or the amount you paid to easyLife in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is lower.

13.6 Use at Your Own Risk:

You acknowledge that you engage with Service Providers at your own risk. easyLife does NOT control or guarantee the actions of Service Providers. You are responsible for:

Verifying Service Provider credentials, licenses, and insurance
Obtaining appropriate written contracts with Service Providers
Protecting your own interests and exercising due diligence
Reporting any safety concerns or misconduct immediately

14Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold easyLife harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Platform
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Services provided or received through the Platform
Content you post on the Platform

15Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution:

Before initiating formal proceedings, contact us at support@easylife.net.in to resolve disputes informally.

15.2 Arbitration:

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration laws. Arbitration will be conducted in English in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, India.

15.3 Class Action Waiver:

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions or representative proceedings.

16Governing Law & Jurisdiction

16.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16.2 Jurisdiction: The courts of Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform.

16.3 Registered Office: easyLife LLP is registered in India with its office at Kannuaj - 209726, Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, India.

17Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

18Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Abuse of the Platform or other users
Non-payment of fees
Safety concerns

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

19Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
